Transformation can manifest in unexpected ways that surprise you.

"Your beliefs and thoughts are wired into your biology. They become your cells, tissues and organs. There's no supplement, no diet, no medicine and no exercise regimen that can compare with the power of your thoughts and beliefs. That's the very first place you need to look when anything goes wrong with your body.

The Wisdom in Women's Bodies

Welcome!! With all of the many health and wellness professionals across the world supporting, educating, and inspiring others with their wisdom - especially in the area of women's health - please know that I'm incredibly grateful you're here.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, Functional Medicine Practitioner, Transformational Coach, Teacher, Speaker and Writer, I love the diversity of inspirational roles and how they allow me to encourage people in various, meaningful ways.

Women's bodies are beautiful and miraculous. We have the power to create, nurture and sustain life. We have the power to not only birth human life, we hold unlimited possibilities to birth new ideas, projects, endeavors and relationships of all types. Our multi-passionate and multi-tasking creative brains make us incredibly unique.

We store a lot of memories and past stories in our bodies - anywhere from joyous, high-vibrational energy to heart-wrenching, low-vibrational energy. We also carry within us an innate intelligence that has the wisdom - an inner navigational system - to guide us toward the right or best direction and steer us away from the wrong or worst direction.

What this means is that we are often guided toward experiences, opportunities, possibilities, places, and certain people that can help us release what no longer supports our highest energy and allow our bodies to heal and thrive.

The key here is to practice tuning in, listening to and following that all-knowing inner navigational system that deeply wants us to succeed and be happy.  Fortunately, there are many practices, protocols and resources to help you with this!

Throughout a woman's life, there are significant changes in all areas of her life - physically, emotionally, professionally, financially, socially, environmentally and spiritually. It's expected and healthy that there will be changes, growth and evolution.

Throughout a woman's life, there are joys, accomplishments and celebrations as well as challenges, complications and disappointments. This applies to your health, as well.

When your body is communicating to you in the form of symptoms or "messages" and those symptoms are uncomfortable, painful, relentless, inconvenient and frustrating....rather than perpetuating the frustration and pain, why not reframe this to ask: "What's the opportunity here that I need to know, see, hear and learn? What do I need to change about myself for me to fully heal from this? Who can successfully, efficiently and compassionately help me overcome this?

These powerful questions shift the mindset from feeling helpless, hopeless, and defeated to being a self-empowered, self-accountable, and fiercely determined hero in our own lives.

Every adversity, problem and setback offers you an incredible (and purposeful) opportunity for a compelling, transformative comeback.

From Adolescence to beyond Menopause, there's so much that happens in a woman's body. While some things might be predictable or common, there can be a lot of mystery, chaos, confusion and dysfunction that can arise during these significant and sacred years.

Working with a professional who fully understands women's health, women's bodies, women's hormonal fluctuations as well as all of the potential nuances, changes and problems disguised as "opportunities" that can arise is essential to your resiliency and recovery.

Throughout my life, I've struggled with irregular menstrual cycles, PMS, cystic acne, migraine headaches, food allergy and stress-induced irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), sinusitis, insomnia, anxiety and depression.

With the incredible support and expertise from a blend of holistic-focused and conventionally trained healthcare professionals, I have repeatedly healed my body.

I wholeheartedly believe in an integrative, collaborative approach to treating the whole person. There should never be a one-size-fits-all when it comes to your personalized, healing transformation.

Using my personal and professional experiences, not only can I relate on many levels, I feel blessed that I can turn my pain into a greater sense of purpose, inspiring others along their own healing journey.

Massive breakdowns often lead to massive breakthroughs.

Education & Experience

Born and raised in the San Francisco, California Bay Area, my circuitous journey to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor was a calling inspired by my own health challenges that could not be fully resolved through conventional medicine.

Influenced by my love of nature and the healing power of the natural world that surrounds us, I received a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, an accredited science and research-based institution in the Pacific Northwest.

Before becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, I received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Food Science. "Let food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food" (Hippocrates) continues to be a guiding philosophy in my own life and emphasized in the lives of my clients.

I have received professional training from The Institute for Functional Medicine, The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, the UC Davis Professional Coaching Program, the Inner Health Coalition with Dr. Joe Dispenza and numerous professional and personal coaching mentorship programs with many integrative health care practitioners.

For nearly 16  years in practice, being a partner in health for my clients is incredibly gratifying and I feel honored to share in their remarkable transformation.

An avid proponent of living a healthy lifestyle, I love to cook, check out farm-to-table restaurants, and farmer's markets, engage in a variety of strength training exercises, explore the beauty and adventure in Mother Nature, get immersed in water sports, travel, host my podcast - Fire, Soul & Grace, practice meditation and deeply connect with people in my local and global community.
